Andromeda Turre is an award-winning jazz vocalist, composer, and visionary performer whose work bridges legacy and innovation. Raised among jazz legends and trained at Berklee and Boston Conservatory, she brings a powerful blend of soul, jazz, and rhythm to every stage—infused with storytelling, social impact, and emotional depth.

Andromeda Turre is a dynamic, award-winning vocalist, composer, and multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges the rich traditions of jazz with contemporary innovation. Raised in the world of music by her parents—renowned trombonist Steve Turre and celebrated cellist Akua Dixon—Andromeda was immersed in the artistry of legends like Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach, Ray Charles, and Wynton Marsalis from birth.

Educated at The Boston Conservatory and Berklee College of Music, she has developed a signature sound that blends jazz, soul, and theatrical storytelling. Her career has taken her across more than 17 countries, captivating audiences in Europe, Asia, and the United States. In addition to her international tours, she has performed off-Broadway and lent her voice to artists such as Ray Charles and Michael Bublé, and has been a long-standing background vocalist for Saturday Night Live.
An accomplished composer, Andromeda's original works have been featured in film, theater, and television.
Her acclaimed musical From the Earth—an exploration of climate action through music—has garnered multiple awards, including the 2025 World Entertainment Awards for Best Jazz Artist, Best Jazz Album, and Best Social Awareness Song.
Andromeda is also the founder of M31 Entertainment, curating high-level musical experiences for corporate and cultural events, including New York City’s Juneteenth Celebration in Central Park. Through her work, she continues to champion social change, environmental advocacy, and the celebration of Black musical heritage.

This May, Andromeda brings her artistry to The Forum's signature event, Harmony for the Heart, leading audiences on a soulful journey from the timeless sounds of Motown and New Orleans to the rhythms of modern R&B. Her performance promises a night of heartfelt music, connection, and celebration of community.
